selalu berharap, suatu saat ada seseorang yang berani menyanyikan lagu ini, and he literally meant every single word from the lyric...

kadang iri rasanya kalo ada teman yang cerita 'aku dikasih kado loh sama pacarku pas ulang tahun kemarin...'
atau sekadar 'ya ampun, dia ngebawain kue ke rumahku, terus aku disuruh tiup lilin sama make a wish...'
iya, aku iri. banget.
udah bolak-balik ganti pacar, sudah dua kali pacaran yang 'serius' dan 'lama', masih belum ada yang ngasih kado waktu ulang tahun.
yang tahun ini malah udah janjiin beli kado, waktu hari-h malah gak jadi *straight face* *ultimate face palm*
padahal... hampir buat semua pacar, setiap ulang tahun, aku selalu mulai menyisihkan uang sekitar sebulan sebelum ulang tahunnya, biar bisa beli kado yang 'appropriate'
bukannya mengharap imbalan atau apapun sih, tapi, pengen aja ngerasain ada yang perhatian waktu ulang tahun, walaupun kadonya gak seberapa. kado itu ngebuktiin kalo orang yang ngasih perhatian sama yang ulang tahun, kan? paling nggak yang ngasih rela ngeluarin duit, waktu, dan pikiran buat ngasih kado.
at least, itu yang aku pikir setiap kali ngasih kado--ke siapapun.
yah, mungkin pacar-pacar yang ini memang belum waktunya ngasih kado.
mungkin pacar yang selanjutnya? #eh

jadi, sebenarnya, nulis di sini itu pelampiasan. pelampiasan cerita sesuatu yang nggak bisa diceritain ke orang lain. toh nggak ada yang buka ini.

sudah beberapa minggu ini aku mengalami sakit yang... ehm... agak malu-maluin kalo diceritain.
*garuk-garuk tanah*
*kubur diri dalam-dalam*

jadi udah beberapa minggu ini aku ngerasa sakit banget di bagian punggung sama pinggang. yeah, keep laughing, kedengerannya sepele. tapi...
sakit ini bikin beberapa aktivitas yang biasanya dilakukan tanpa sadar jadi terganggu.
contoh: naik ke boncengan motor pacar. naik-turun angkot *kan harus nunduk-nunduk biar nggak kejeduk pintu angkotnya*
kalo mau yang lebih ekstrim: rukuk waktu sholat.
atau hal-hal simpel: ngambil barang di lantai.
pertamanya, aku ngira ini semacem tengengan. salah tidur gitu. tapi *biasanya* sakit gara-gara salah tidur itu 1-2 hari udah hilang sendiri.
tapi ini udah beberapa minggu T.T
dan kenapa ini baru diposting sekarang?
karena hari ini, baru kerasa banget sakitnya. pulang kuliah, turun angkot sambil nunduk, sambil gendong ransel yang isinya laptop+binder+tepak+novel.
waktu itu udah cerita ke mama, tapi malah dimarahin, katanya kurang olahraga ._.
ya sudahlah, semoga sakit ini segera hilang dengan sendirinya.

okay, i'm too excited to write this down last night, but, here we go.

last night, i got a text from my boyf. an unexpected text.

sayang siap2 ya..aku hbis gini jemput kamu mau makan bareng sama keluargaku.. :*

and i just stared on my cellphone... WHAT?
suddenly i was panicked. i was on my way to Taman Remaja Surabaya, to accompanied my sister and her band to perform there. actually i joined them because i thought he wouldn't ask me to go out that night. yeah, it's his birthday, and i knew that his family would go out that night to celebrate it. but i thought i wouldn't be a part of it. i called his cell straight away and he agreed to pick me up at TRS. but i was worried because i just wore a grey plain cardigan, a black tank-top, a white hijab, a black skinny jeans, and a pair of fit flops. yeah, a sandal.

30 minutes later, he picked me up. but his car was empty. he said that he already dropped off his parents and his sister on Boncafe Gubeng. i started to scolding him about 'you should tell me earlier...' 'i think you wouldn't ask me to join you tonight because i think it was a family night' 'i don't bring your present--i even haven't wrapped it up!' and 'i don't wear a proper clothes!' but he just smiled and said 'well i'm sorry, but my mom asked me to take you there tonight. don't worry, i also wear sandal and shorts... it's just a casual dinner...' and i started to calm down. on our way there he called his mom to tell her our steak and beverage choice, so we don't have to wait for our meal. actually his sister already mentioned me on twitter to ask me my steak choice, but i didn't realize it until midnight. so sorry, mbak :3

when we arrived there, his family already sat down and chatting around. there were both of his parents, both of his sisters--mbak arum and mbak lila, and his oldest sister's husband. i sat down beside my boyf, right across his oldest sister's husband, mas rydho. we chatted about our lost cellphone *sigh* and other stuffs. i teased my boyf about his freak habit to eat steak bread. and after that, our steaks were served. mine was spicy tenderloin (yumm!) with fries, some kind of potato tots, green long beans, and carrots *of course i didn't eat the carrots*.

after that he ate my bread (such a food-zombie!) and mbak lila ordered some ice cream. i wanted the ice cream but i was already full because of the steak and the vanilla milkshake (which was totally yummy!)

after his dad paid for the food, we splitted up. his parents and mbak lila went home with mbak arum and mas rydho, and he drove me home. he spent some time in my house, and i quickly wrapped up the present and gave it to him. i tell you, it was priceless, it was worth it, when i saw his excited face. thank god he looooved the gift--it was a lens-shaped thermos. he love photography, but i can't afford the real equipment-so i just bought him the related thingy. he hugged me for a long time after he opened his present. we kissed and had fun after that.

when he arrived at his home, he chatted me via Yahoo! Messenger. he told me that he showed his present to all of his family. mbak lila even mentioned me again on twitter about the lens-shaped thermos! i was very happy last night. i felt like i was accepted on his family :)
